Valkyries Childcare
We know it is difficult to find time for yourself when you have little ones. Valhalla has created a childcare center for your children that is safe, friendly and so much fun, your child won't want to leave! Set in an intimate environment, the Valkyries staff is fully equipped for your children anywhere from 12 weeks up until 9 years of age. Relax knowing your child is in the best hands possible while you get in a stress relieving workout!
Policies & Procedures
- Children 12 weeks and older with updated vaccinations are permitted.
Socks are required to play in Valkyries childcare facility.
Parents must remain onsite at Valhalla Health & Fitness Club while their child is in the Valkyries childcare facility.
Please drop off children with a fresh diaper or recent visit to the potty.
If possible, please avoid sending snacks into Valkyries childcare. If needed, please send in basic snacks, such as pretzels, goldfish, etc... Please do not send anything with peanut butter due to food allergies.
We ask that children do not bring in toys from home. It is easy for a toy to get misplaced or broken. If you do bring a toy in from home, it must be clearly labeled with their name and home phone number on the toy.
Please arrive on time for pick up. The maximum amount of time is 2 hours.
Parents must provide all necessary items for their child, including diapers, wipes, bottles, etc. Please label all items appropriately.
Children must be signed in and out of the Valkyries childcare facility for their own protection. We CANNOT authorize any children in or out of Valkyries childcare without a parent's signature.
If someone else will be picking up your child on any given day, please note on the sign in sheet with your signature. For the safety of your children, we cannot release any child without a parent signature.
Sick Policy
If your child is too sick to attend school, then he or she is too sick to attend Valkyries Childcare. Children with the following conditions or symptoms will not be admitted into the Valkyries Childcare: Yellow or green nose discharge, Conjunctivitis (pink eye), Influenza, Diarrhea, Chicken Pox, Coxsackie's Virus and other contagious viruses. A doctor's note is required for children to return to Valkyries Childcare following a contagious condition. Please note if a child is dropped off with any signs of sickness, we will page you to come pick up your child.
Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behaviors include but are not limited to, profanity, disrespecting others, failure to comply with a staff member's directions, excessive horseplay and inappropriate or violent physical contact. If need be, we will summon a parent if their child is misbehaving.
