Martial Arts at Valhalla

Tang Soo Do- Korean Karate- for all ages…

Instructed by Jim Robinson

WHAT IS TANG SOO DO?

It is a traditional Korean martial art that is ideal as an overall system of self defense. Students learn to move, block, strike, throw and sweep a potential attacker.

Students learn that goal setting and hard work produce results that are reinforced by their advancement through a belt system. Physical skills such as balance, timing, overall body coordination and flexibility are improved through regular consistent training.

Students learn to work with each other and push each other to be better. A real sense of camaraderie and team work grow as students advance, developing qualities and physical skills that will help them in school, work, and other athletic activities and sports.

Class Philosophy

Develop practical self defense skills while improving the overall physical condition of the body. Traditional respect and protocol is blended with a fun and energetic class environment. The class has access to and uses a wide range of equipment to improve student’s core martial arts skills.

National Accreditation

All Instructors and students are / become members of The American Tang Soo Do Association headed by Grandmaster Richard Byrne.
